<p>PURPOSE:To improve dust collecting efficiency as well as to prevent white smoking from a chimney and to accelerate the diffusion of stack gases in the stage of treating the waste gas with a wet type desulfurizer through an electrical dust precipitator by subjecting the inlet gas of the dust precipitator and the outlet gas of the desulfurizer to heat exchanging. CONSTITUTION:The waste gas from, for example, a coal boiler 1 is treated with an economizer 2, a denitrator 3, an air heater 4, an electric dust precipitator 5 and a wet desulfurizer 6, and is then released through a chimney 7 into the atmosphere. Here, a heat exchanger 8 is instaled in the front stage at the inlet of the precipitator 5. Then, when the waste gas from the boiler 1 is going to enter the precipitator 5 after temp. control, denitration and temp. drop, the gas is further cooled by the absorption of heat by the heat exchanger 8 and the fly ashes of high electric resistance in the gas are decreased of the electric resistance thereof, whereby dust collecting efficiency is improved. The waste gas out from the desulfurizer 6 is heated in the exchanger 8, whereby the white smoking of the waste gas from a chimney 7 is prevented and the diffusion thereof is accelerated. It is equally well to add a dust precipitator to the desulfurizer 6 and to subject the outlet gas thereof to heat exchanging with the exchanger 8.</p> |
