PURPOSE:To prevent explosive combustion in a small room and also prevent abnormal flame rise and generation of soots at the time of fire extinguishing. CONSTITUTION:When a wick 5 is lowered, an opening 4 is opened. By this operation, a mojor part of an unburnt gas continuing to evaporate from the wick 5 flows into a small room 6 through a porous member 9 from the opening 4. With the lowering of the wick 5, a flame which is lowered to a space 9 accumlating the wick tends to be transmitted to the unburnt gas within the small room 6. This is checked by the porous member 7. Accordingly, it is greatly reduced that the unburnt gas within the small room 6 instantaneously burns. By these procedures, explosive combustion within the small room can be prevented, and abnormal rise of flame and generation of soots can also be eliminated. |
