<p>PURPOSE:To hold a magnetic head stable and to attain stable tracking control, by holding the magnetic head in the state being clipped with an electrostrictive element for both sides between two legs arranged opposingly in parallel of a frame having a large mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION:In the figure, 20 is an H-shaped frame formed with a member having a sufficient mechanical strength, and the magnetic head 22 having a gap G is inserted between opposing two legs 21a and 21b of the frame 20, in the state being clipped with the 1st and the 2nd laminated electrostrictive elements 23a, 23b. A positive and negative control voltage amplified at a voltage amplifier 24 is applied to the elements 23a, 23b. An adhesive, etc. is used to band two legs 21a, 21b of the frame 20, with the elements 23a, 23b and both sides of the head 22 with said elements 23a, 23b.</p> |
