PURPOSE:To prevent cracks in a reclaimed tire which is obtained by bonding new treads via a cushion rubber to a tire casing whose old treads have been removed, by forming a particular shaped recessed part at both ends of the treads. CONSTITUTION:A reclaimed tire is manufactured by bonding a previously vulcanized tread part 4 to a flat part 3 of a tire casing 2 whose old tread part has been removed, making a cushion rubber layer 5 lie there between. In this case, a recessed part 6 is formed at the both end faces of the tread part 4 and at a certain interval along the periphery. Thus, a rib part 9 of for example 5mm. or more in thickness is formed between the bottom brim 7 of the recessed part 6 and the inner periphery 8 of the tread part 4, while a rib part 12 is formed between the top brim 10 of the recessed part 6 and the outer periphery 11 of the tread part 4, and further a rib 13 is formed between recessed parts 6 and 6 which are neighboring with each other along the periphery. |
