PURPOSE:To stably burn tar sand-bitumen by increasing the temperature of tar sand-bitumen by a first heating device up to a temperature at which it can be transported, also increasing the tempertature thereof by a second heating device up to a temperature at which it can be atomized and no combustible gas is produced, and subjecting it to atomizing combustion. CONSTITUTION:The tar sand-bitumen 1 is stored in a fuel tank 2, and heated to a temperature in a range of from about 40 deg.C to about 100 deg.C by a first heater 3. The tar sand-bitumen necessary for combustion is supplied to a heating vessel 7 by means of a pump 6, and heated by a second heater 8 to a temperature within a range at about 70-210 deg.C at which an atomizing combustion is possible. After application of pressure by a pump 9, the tar sand-bitumen is atomized and burnt within a combustion furnace 13 together with a pressure medium 11. |
