<p>PURPOSE:To reduce complication of input, by converting the character code of the first character of an inputted European of American sentence to an uppercase character code by a keyboard operation to make it possible to input the first character of the sentence without shifting keys to the upper case. CONSTITUTION:A sentence end discriminating part 33 discriminates whether data of an European or American sentence inputted from a keyboard is equivalent to the end of the sentence or not; and if it indicates the end of the sentence, a flag register 35 is set. The discriminating part 33 discriminates the input of the code of a period, a carriage return, an end of page, a sentence generation start, or the like. An alphabet discriminating part 37 discriminates whether input data is alphabets or not. At the start of sentence generation, the sentence end flag 35 is set because a sentence generation start key is depressed before input of text. When a key, for example, ''h'' is depressed in this state, the discriminating part 37 discriminates an alphabet and supplies the output to a code converting part 41 through an AND gate 39. The character code of ''h'' is converted to the character code of ''H'' in the converting part 41, and this character code is sent to a word processor processing part 43.</p> |
