PURPOSE:To display a difference between a board to be measured and a reference plug board as a TV picture, to enable saving of manpower and labor required for a quality inspection, and to perform an automatic, high-precise, and rapid inspection, by a method wherein a subtraction takes place between the video signal of the board to be measured and the video signal of the reference plug board already stored. CONSTITUTION:A visual picture producing means 1 consists of a reference plug board 2 serving as a reference of inspection, a plug board 3 to be measured serving as an inspection object, and illuminating sources 4a and 4b. Pattern information of the boards 2 and 3 are photographed by a TV photographing means 5, and digital video signals DVa thereof are stored in a memory 8. A read-out signal RV read and a video signal VDb from the means 5 are fed to subtracting means 9, a subtraction is conducted between the two signals, and the obtained video signal is applied to a TV display means 10 to display a difference between the boards 2 and 3. |
