PURPOSE:To offer convenience to the display of a vertically written document, by converting a pattern signal, which is obtained by converting a series signal by horizontal scanning to a parallel signal, to a parallel pattern signals by vertical scanning. CONSTITUTION:In case of storage, a memory board receives a storage command included in a control input 58, and a switch 53 is switched to the X side, and line operation is possible in respective storage elements. A line which should be set to the storage permission state is determined by a line switching signal 205, and data is stored successively. In case of read, the switch 53 is switched to the Y side by a read operation command, and 8 storage elements 0A, 1A... 7A are operated simultaneously, and they are switched to storage elements 0B... 7B, 0C 7C,.... One of columns A-H is selected by the line selection of the line switching signal 205, and an address is designated to obtain a parallel signal. |
