PURPOSE:To ensure the prevention of the breakdown of transistors due to surge voltages, by providing a voltage absorbing circuit, which absorbs AC voltages when the AC voltages exceeding the voltage of a DC power source is generated on the side of a primary winding. CONSTITUTION:A choke CH is connected to the emitter side of the transistors TR1 and TR2. Diodes D1 and D2 are connected to a negative terminal of the DC power source E and the intermediate parts of the primary winding NP, respectively. The primary winding NP is constituted by windings NP1-NP4. The voltages generated across the windings NP1 and NP2 are AC voltages. By changing the number of turns of the windings NP1 and NP2, the voltages to be applied to the diodes D1 and D2 are changed. The number of turns of the windings NP1 and NP2 are adjusted and set so that the diodes D1 and D2 are not turned OFF normally, and the voltage absorbing circuit Q is constituted by the diodes D1 and D2. |
