PURPOSE:To make a titled illuminator attachable and detachable to and from a camera by constituting the illuminator used for finding a range using an auto- focusing device in case of low luminance, as an attachment separately from a camera. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary illuminator 4 is provided with a fitting part 5b which is installed to an accessory shoe 5a of a camera body 1, and a fitting part 5c to which other accessory can be fitted. An auxiliary light emitting part 6 emits an auxiliary light beam in the photographing optical axis direction toward an object to be photographed. On the fitting part 5a, a signal pin 7a for controlling the light emission or other accessory is provided, and it electrically conducts a contact of the fitting part 5b and transmits and receives a signal. A signal pin 7b transmits and receives a signal for controlling other accessory fitted to this part at the time of adhesion. The device is installed to an electronic flash device fitting part 5d or the accessory shoe 5a of the camera body. |
