PURPOSE:To form an uniform insulating layer in a short time by putting a stator core in mold dies, and by molding a stator and a winding monolithically with resin. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition that a stator core 1 is positioned and fixed in mold dies 6 and 7, resin is injected for molding into a space 8 formed among the stator core 1, a core metal 5, a lower die 6 and an upper die 7, and thereby substantially-uniform thin insulating layer is formed on the whole of the outer peripheral surface of the stator core 1 except for the inner peripheral surface 4a of the end of the teeth part 4 of the core 1 and presser plates 4b on both end surfaces of the surface 4a. According to an above-mentioned method, the insulating layer covering both end surface of the stator core 1 and the inner periphery of a slot can be formed simply, and thus the number of processes required for insulation can be reduced sharply. |
