<p>The method is for a septic filling of plastics containers with liq. The containers are supplied in a single file continuous length, each complete with spout for filling/discharge. The continuous length of containers is supplied folded and sterilised inside a sealed outer pack. The outer pack is opened adjacent to the entry of the filling machine tunnel and the leading end of the continuous length of containers is fed into the machine's advancing feed. The opening of the outer pack is sealed around the tunnel entry to form a protective passage through which containers pass from pack to machine. On entering the machine, the length of containers is passed continuously through a lock chamber filled with sterilising liq. From the lock chamber the containers are advanced through a warmed drying space into a filling compartment of the tunnel.</p> |
