PURPOSE:To obtain an optimum S/N, by providing a control part to set a steering signal at an optimum level to improve the S/N of an MSN adaptive antenna. CONSTITUTION:A switch 22 is previously turned to the side of a limiter 23, and a steering signal obtained by feeding an expected electric wave is set to each antenna element 1. A part of a system output is led to a filter 26, and only a pilot signal is extracted with the filter 26. The level of this signal is detected by a detector 27 and stored at a control part 28. Then the part 28 finds out a steering signal with which the output level of the detector 27 is set at the maximum value. When the output level of the detector is set at the maximum value, the switch 22 is changed over to release the limiter 23. At this time point, the part 28 is used to perform the same procedure as that mentioned above. Thus an optimum S/N is obtained since the disturbance waves are eliminated when a desired signal higher than the limiter level is applied to an antenna. |
