PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts required for constituting tanks for a transformer, by providing embossed reinforcements on each of right-side and left-side tanks. CONSTITUTION:Embossed reinforcements 8 are provided on each of a right- side tank 3 and a left-side tank 4. The embossed reinforcements 8 should have a groove-like shape and are provided so as to be parallel to the end surfaces of wedges 5, 6, respectively. Such embossed reinforcements 8 can receive the right and left wedges 5, 6 pressing a winding 2 against an iron core 1, so that it is possible to eliminate the need for stoppers which are conventionally necessary. Accordingly, it becomes possible to reduce the number of component parts required for constituting the tanks. |
