The hole saw comprises a cylindrical saw blade (1), which together with a centre drill (2) is fastened in a drill chuck (not shown). The cylindrical saw blade (1) is formed integrally with a collar section (3) with a diameter smaller than the cutting diameter of the blade, which section (3) tightly surrounds the centre drill (2) so that in use relative movement between the throat section (3) and the centre drill (2) is prevented by their being fixed in the chuck.
