<p>PURPOSE:To realize appropriate and smooth translation of an ambiguous word, by displaying with switching successively >=2 types equivalent when a switch is operated for translation. CONSTITUTION:An ROM 15 stores the English word information for instance; and an RAM16 has various types of registers capable. The output data of the ROM15 and RAM16 are displayed 1 via an arithmetic part 18. Here an operation decoder 17 decodes an input data OP and delivers a chip designating signals CS1 and CS2 to the ROM15 and RAM16 respectively. At the same time, a signal R/W is delivered to the RAM16 to carry out the reading/writing operation of the RAM16. In an English-Japanese translation mode, the English words are stored alphabetically in each region. The numerical value 1 shows an English index; while numerical values 2 and 3 show Japanese indexes. Then >=2 kinds equivalents are displayed with switch and successively.</p> |
