PURPOSE:To improve an input current distortion rate and input rate, by combining first and second power source converter circuits, and supplying the output voltage to a load. CONSTITUTION:The first power source converter circuit 8 is connected to a commercial power source 1 through a full wave rectifier circuit 2, and smoothing inductance 9 and capacitor 3. The output terminal of the full wave rectifier circuit 2 is connected to a second power source converter circuit 11 through the inductance 9 and a switch 10. The first and second power source converter circuits 8 and 11 are formed by first and second high frequency converter circuits 12 and 13. During the period the voltage of the smoothing capacitor 3 is higher than the commerical power source voltage, the commercial power source 1 is connected to the second power source converter circuit 11, the outputs of the first and second power source converter circuits 8 and 11 are combined, and the result is supplied to the load 4. |
