PURPOSE:To lighten a load to an electric power source, and to reduce power consumption, by constituting so that an auxiliary illuminator for finding a range is not operated in the course of photometry and in the course of photographing, and photometry is not executed in the course of operation of auxiliary light, and intermittently emitting light from an auxiliary light source. CONSTITUTION:An AF circuit 113 controls so that a lens is always set to a focused position, a terminal EN of a motor driver 116 is connected to a Q output of a flip-flop FF, and when the shutter is being controlled, a focusing motor 117 is not operated. An output signal of an AND 3 is connected to a light emitting element 112 in an auxiliary light adaptor through a terminal of a hot shoe 121 of a camera, and light is emitted. Also, an output of the AND 3 inhibits a clock input of an up-down counter 120, and influence to liminance of an object to be photographed by auxiliary light is eliminated. In this way, a photometric error can be eliminated by executing automatic focus detection and photometry by time series, and it is possible to enlarge a luminance range of an object to be photographed, of automatic focus detection. |
