PURPOSE:To enable the change in the number of poles in the ratio of 3 to 4 by switching a few terminals in a single winding, by providing four sets of windings wherein the number of continuation of coils and the pole gap of the winding of each set are made to be a prescribed number and a prescribed gap respectively. CONSTITUTION:The grooves of an iron core are provided in the number of 1-36. A system of lap winding with the pole change of six and eight poles is applied, and the connection constitution of 2XY is adopted for the six poles and that of 1XDELTA for the eight poles. A first winding group of U phase comprises a winding A1 in a first set of U phase to a winding A4 in a fourth set thereof, while a second winding group comprises a winding A5 in a fifth set of U phase to a winding A8 in an eighth set. Similarly, a first winding group of V phase comprises a winding B1 in a first set of V phase to a winding B4 in a fourth set, while a second winding group thereof comprises a winding B5 in a fifth set of V phase to a winding B8 in a eighth set. Furthermore, a first winding group of W phase comprises a winding C1 in a first set of W phase to a winding C4 in a fourth set, while a second winding group thereof comprises a winding C5 in a fifth set of W phase to a winding C8 in an eighth set thereof. The windings A1-A8, B1-B8, and C1-C8 in each set are formed in the prescribed number of coils and arranged in a prescribed pole gap. |
