PURPOSE:To scan a picture with high resolution and high precision, by generating a clock signal from the output of a rotary encoder and providing a clock signal generator which generates a clock signal synchronously with said clock signal. CONSTITUTION:Picture data is written from a magnetic tape device 5 to a line memory 6 in unit of one-line components of picture data is read out synchronously with the clock signal generated from the output of a rotary encoder 3. Two line memories are provided for the purpose of performing two operations of the memory 6 simultaneously to describe picture continuously. The output of the memory 6 is amplified to such form by a recording amplifier 8 that this output can drive a recording head 10, and the amplified output is supplied to the head 10. Consequently, a clock signal generator 9 generates the clock signal synchronously with the output of the encoder 3 by the timing of recording of every picture element onto a recording paper on a drum 2 by the head 10, and the variance of rotation of the drum 2 is difficult to generate to read and record pictures or patterns. |
