PURPOSE:To provide a lighr and inexpensive lithographic plate material which is excellent in the dydrophilic property, water retaining property, resistance and the like of the surface by providing metal such as Ni in layers on a plastic film after it undergoes a sensitizing and activating process. CONSTITUTION:After sensitizing and activating processes of a plastic film (preferably roughened on the surface beforehand), one or more kinds of metals selected from among Ni, Zn, Sn, Cu and the like are provided in layers to form a lithographic plate material. Especially, the metal of the top layer formed by non-electrolyte plating is preferably Ni. |
