PURPOSE:To enable to restart an internal combustion engine with ease, by communicating a by-pass fuel passage by-passing a pressure regulator when the fuel temperature has become higher than a prescribed value, and thereby interrupting injection of fuel from fuel injectors. CONSTITUTION:Fuel supplied from a fuel tank 1 is injected to an engine 7 from injectors 6 after the fuel pressure is controlled by a pressure regulator 5. The pressure regulator 5 is connected with a by-pass fuel passage 10, which is communicated with opening of a temperature-sensitive valve means 12 when the fuel temperature is higher than a prescribed value. In this state, fuel pressure is not developed in a delivery pipe 4, so that fuel is not injected from the injectors 6. On the other hand, when the fuel pressure is restored through cooling of the injectors 6, etc. by the fuel supplied from the tank 1, injection of fuel becomes possible, so that the engine can be restarted with ease. |
