PURPOSE:To enable to complete quick starting by a structure wherein a limiting spring to the fuel suppression at starting with a proper setting pressure is added between the fork lever and floating piece of a governor. CONSTITUTION:The fork lever 5 of a governor 3 is intelockingly coupled to a rack 2 for controlling fuel injection quantity of a fuel injection pump 1. The limiting spring 15 to the fuel suppression at starting is added between the fork 1 lever 5 and a floating piece 6. After the start of engine starting, the spring 15 holds back the fork lever 5 to the limiting position of the fuel suppression at starting until the rotational frequency of the engine rises up to above a fixed frequency, at which the governor force exceeds the setting pressure of the limiting spring 15 to the fuel suppression at starting. In such a manner as mentioned above, the quick starting can be completed without causing no sluggishness of rotational frequency in the course of the rise of rotational frequency. |
