<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the vibration and noise which occur during operation of a radial plunger pump-motor by a construction wherein an engaging pin is transversely located in a groove formed in a cam ring. CONSTITUTION:The arrangement is made such that when the delivery pressure is less than a preset value, the valve chamber formed in a piston 15b of a large diameter is communicated with a suction port, whilst the valve chamber of a piston 15a of a small diameter is supplied with the pressure in a delivery port. As a result, adjusting piston 15 is moved rightwards to turn a cam ring 2 through an intermediary of the engaging pin 14 to increase the stroke of plungers 11. When the delivery pressure has increased beyond the preset value, the pressure in the chamber increases to move a pressure control valve 21 to the left so that the passage 24 is communicated with the passage 23 to supply the delivery pressure into the valve chamber of the large diameter piston 15b thereby moving the adjusting piston 15 leftwards. As a result, the adjusting piston 15 causes a cam ring 2 to turn about a pin 5 to adjust the eccentricity thereby reducing the volume of the liquid to be deliverred.</p> |
