PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of piston parts by a method in which a connector for a piston and a weight is designed such that the piston is separated from the weight when the weight is at its dropping position. CONSTITUTION:In a connector 6 to link a weight 5 with a piston 41, a wire rope 6b positioned between a rod 6a connected to the piston 41 side and the weight 5 is set up to a length such that it is slightly loosened at the dropping position of the weight 5. Also, brackets 6e with parallel plates 6d are attached to the upside of the weight 5 and parallel plates 6c to the lower end of the rod 6a by welding, and sockets 6g at each end of a rope 6b are pierced with pins 6h between the plates 6c and 6d and fixed with bolts 6i and nuts 6k. By this, the weight 5 is freely dropped to strike the pile 1 boundignly, whereupon the rope 6b is loosened to protect the piston 41 from impaction. |
