PURPOSE:To detect precisely the position of a conduit line by fitting rotary displacement meters between two probes and a rotating angle detector to one of the probes to detect yaw, pitch and rolling angles. CONSTITUTION:The relative displacement of a position between the probes 2, 3 connected by a revolving shaft detecting part 1 is affected to revolving, shaft 4A, 5A by pulling or self-propelling the probes 2, 3 into a blank conduit line and the extent of turning is detected by rotating displacement meters such as potentiometers. Consequently the relative extent of displacement between the probes 2, 3 can be detected as yaw and pitch angles. Since a rotating angle detector such as an inclinometer or a accelerometer is fitted to one of the probes 2, 3, the extent of rolling of the probes 2, 3 can be measured as a rolling angle. By precisely detecting the position (yaw, pitch and rolling angles) of the device, the position of the conduit line is precisely measured from its travelling trace. |
