PURPOSE:To reproduce a selected program, by recording a TV signal of a scrambled specific program including a key signal and a code signal, storing the signal after descrambling and selecting the key signal in response to the code signal. CONSTITUTION:The format of the TV signal of a scramble broadcast is transmitted in addition to the key code at the end of broadcast in the video signal period. Thus, the scramble broadcast is once recorded on a VTR, the key code is obtained finally and stored in a memory, for example, the key code is read out at reproduction for descrambling. The program code is a code designating the key code and revised by year, month, week, day and program. The program code is stored corresponding to the said memory. At the vertical blanking period, the program code is inserted continuously for 70 field periods at about 20- second intervals, the corresponding key code is selected with the reproduced program code and the selected program is descrambled and reproduced. |
