PURPOSE:To make it possible to enhance the efficiency of energy accumulation, by incorporating both of a flywheel and a gear mechanism which converts external kinetic energy or electric energy into torque for acceleration and transmits the latter to the flywheel, in one vacuum chamber. CONSTITUTION:When a drive shaft 3 is rotated by applying external kinetic energy or electric energy thereto while a vacuum chamber 1 having an exhaust port 2 connected to a vacuum chamber 1 is evacuated, the rotation of a supporting arm 10 allows planetary gears 7 to be planetarily rotated through a rotary supporting shaft 9, and therefore, a flywheel 5 is accelerated to a high speed through a prime mover gear 6 in cooperation with a sun gear 8 secured to the wall of the vacuum chamber 1. Then, in order to extract this rotational inertia energy, due to inverse motion, the driver shaft 3 is decelerated to a low speed and is smoothly operated. Thus, the efficiency of energy accumulation is enhanced with no loss by wind drag so that the capacity of heat accumulation is increased under the high speed rotation of the flywheel. However, safety may be maintained since the drive shaft does not have a high speed rotation. |
