The invention relates to an air bubble massage device comprising a control unit having a fan and a foldable or rollable bubble grid which can be connected to the pressurised air outlet of the control unit housing with an air hose, into which grid air channels with bubble openings are inserted. In order to achieve optimum operation of the control unit in use and a space-saving position for storage of the parts of the air bubble massage device when not in use the invention provides for the control unit housing to be combinable with a superstructure, so that it assumes a predetermined working height and that the roll or the assembly of the rolled or folded bubble grid and the air hose can be accommodated in the reception part.
