<p>The joint ring (12) projects peripherally to overlap the section of an opening (3) in the wall (4) and elastically deforms to move along the tube during insertion. The external tube face has two axially spaced housings (7,8) and the joint moves from one housing to the other, during tube insertion. The housings are separated by an annular rib (9) with inclined walls (13,14) to aid joint movement, while the tube has an enlarged rear section (5) that bears against the wall face after insertion.</p> |
