<p>Propeller rudder for boats, particularly sailing yachts having a cylindrical housing (11) and a retractable rotor (47) in the well (10) of the housing and of which the shaft (48) is driven by a shaft (30) which extends in the well (10) up to a drive (19) arranged in the inside (12) of the boat through an angular gear (43). The rotor (47) has the shape of a twin blade propeller (47) of which the blades (45, 46) and the head (44) have, on the rotation plane of the rotor, a width which is smaller than the corresponding inner transversal width of the housing well. The diameter of the circle of the blade exceeds the inner transversal width of the housing well. Before inserting the rotor (47) in the housing well (10), the position of the blade (45, 46) in the blade circle may be controlled, the rotor (47) being motionless.</p> |
