The present invention relates to a device for water supply in order to water pot plants, in which this supply takes place for a time span, which can be defined previously as required, by the movement of a rocking lever, on one arm of which there is a fixed counterweight and on the other arm of which there is a variable counterweight which consists of a regulating pot which fills with water while the supply to the flowerpots takes place. When the water in the pot reaches a given level, the increased weight in the pot moves the rocking lever in such a manner that it makes possible the closure of the water supply valve and consequently the shutting off of the supply. The following supply will take place when a sufficient quantity of water has evaporated in the regulating pot so that the lighter pot rotates the rocking lever in its point of rotation and again brings the water supply valve into the open position. With this system, the water supply takes place only when a certain degree of water evaporation is achieved in the regulating pot and accordingly also in the flowerpots. <IMAGE>
