PURPOSE:To improve the circulation of a heat medium in the collector by a method wherein the upper rim of an upper header, communicating with a plurality of vertical tubes which are the flow paths of the heat medium, is slanted from the center of the collector to each outlet ports formed at both left and right sides of the collector. CONSTITUTION:The collector is formed integrally by one sheet of panel-like synthetic resin into a rectangular shape equipped with the flow paths therein. The heat medium, such as water or the like, is sent from intake ports 5 at both sides into the lower header 3 through descending pipes 4, then, is ascended through the vertical tubes 1 under being heated by the solar heat at the surface of the collector panel 10, and is collected into the upper header 2, thereafter, is taken out from the outlet ports 6, thus, is circulated through the hot-water reserving tank. The upper rim of the upper header 2 is lowest at the center substantially and an inclined rim 7, slanted so as to be higher into the both sides directions connected to the outlet ports 6, therefore, flowing of the heat medium to the directions of the outlet ports is smoothed and a circulation efficiency as well as a temperature increasing performance may be improved. |
