PURPOSE:To enable to stand against typhoon without damaging roof tiles or roof boards by a method wherein a tank is accommodated in a recess formed in a roof and the upper surfaces of the roof tiles arranged at the periphery of a collector and the collector are located in the same plane substantially. CONSTITUTION:An opening 5 is formed on the roof A and a water-proof pan 6, forming the recess 3 projecting into the back side of the roof so as to correspond to the opening, is arranged and supported by the structural member 7 of a building. The peripheral rim flange 8 of the water-proof pan 6 is retained to the peripheral rim of the opening 5 and the tank 2 as well as the collector 1 are put on the water-proof pan while the circumference of the tank 2 is covered by a heat insulating material 13. A hot-water supplying pipe 10 is extended to send a heat medium, heated in the collector 1, to the one end of the tank 2 located at the upper side of the collector 1 while the respective lower ends of the tank 2 and the collector 1 are connected by a water supplying pipe 11. Thus, the collector 1 is located at the same plane substantially as that of the roof tiles 4 and a part overriding both of them is covered by a decoration cover 12. |
