The invention provides an arrangement for high-frequency or middle- frequency melting, especially also in a protective atmosphere, especially for the production of small articles for dental purposes and for use in jewellery. A coil inductor is, in a housing of the casting space, firmly connected, mechanically and electrically, to the outputs of an oscillator capacitor and is provided with a vertically adjustable excitation coil, while the melt crucible is mounted on a rotatable arm of a centrifuge such that the melt crucible can be introduced into the coil inductor for melting by lowering a slide and can be raised again for casting, so that the centrifugal casting takes place in the raised position.
