PURPOSE:To simplify structure of a vertical conveyor by sealably providing a gliding seal plate of small coefficient of friction and excellent resistance to abrasion, on the rising side of a vertical conveyor. CONSTITUTION:Loose objects are taken in between a cross frame 1 and a lug frame 2 of a framed conveyance belt 3 by means of a rake device 10 through an intake port 11 and moved upward while their outer periphery being sealed by means of an intake cover 12. Then, a gliding seal plate 15 conveys loose objects upward while performing excellent seal through contact with the overall outward end face of the lug frame 2 on both sides. Further, excellent seal can be continuously maintained by pressing said plate 15 against the endface of lug frame 2 of the conveyor belt 3 through a spring 16. |
