PURPOSE:To obtain a microstrip line with which a desired quantity of attenuation is obtained with no space required and a fine adjustment is possible for the power distribution ratio, by providing an electric wave absorber on an upper conductor having a width corresponding to the desired characteristic impedance and provided on a dielectric substrate of a low loss in order to obtain a prescribed quantity of attenuation. CONSTITUTION:An upper conductor 23 of a microstrip line is set on a dielectric substrate 2 having a fixed thickness and a low loss. The conductor 23 has a width corresponding to the specific impedance. An electric wave absorber 21 of a flat plate form is provided on the conductor 23 to attenuate the energy of propagation. This quantity of attenuation correponds to the length L of the absorber 21, and therefore a desired quantity of attenuation is obtained by varying the length L. Thus a desired quantity of attenuation can be obtained by providing an electric wave absorber on a microstrip line which has an effect to the distribution of electric power. This enables a fine adjustment of the power distribution ratio. |
