The invention relates to a lithoprinting process in which printing inks containing binders, pigments and organic solvents are transferred from an inking unit onto a lithographic printing plate cylinder and, from there, onto a printing carrier via a blanket cylinder. At least 60 per cent by weight of the organic solvents in the printing inks have a boiling range from 100 to 200 DEG C, in particular from 150-200 DEG C. The transfer of the printing inks inside the inking unit takes place via a screen roller, on which a doctor blade lies, and onto the printing plate cylinder via an ink transfer roller downstream of the screen roller. Furthermore, the invention relates to a lithoprinting machine whose inking unit has a screen roller, on which a doctor blade lies, and an ink transfer roller arranged between the screen roller and the printing plate cylinder. |
