PURPOSE:To easily and safely load a cask on rails in the cask housing space of a ship, by using the horizontally and vertically moving unit of a loading and unloading equipment to move a cask truck up or down while displacing it rightward or leftward appropriately. CONSTITUTION:A quay 1 is provided with a recess 4 in which at least part of a ship 3 can be put. A secured base 12 is provided at the upper part of the recess 4 so that the base extends horizontally over the ship 3. Rails 14 for a heavy body moving truck 33 are laid on the secured base 12. A base 20, which is fitted with a pair of rails 21 for the heavy body moving truck 33 and can be moved in a vertical direction and a horizontal direction which is perpendicular to the rails 21 which are connected to said rails 14 on the secured base 12, and a unit 18 for moving the base 20 in the vertical and the horizontal directions, are provided. As a result, a heavy body such as a cask C can be easily and safely loaded and unloaded by using the truck 33. |
