PURPOSE:To make unnecessary a handwork for cutting a flash after molding, by arranging a cutting blade on the outer face of one split mold so as to protrude toward the outer face of another split mold at will and cutting a resin which leaks to the outer faces from the clearance of both split molds. CONSTITUTION:A pair of the split molds 2, 2 for a hollow molding capable to contact and separate freely is attached to the inner faces of a pair of the presses 8, 8 via a clearance 1, also a cutting blade 3 is arranged on the outer face of one split mold 2 near the clearance 1 so as to protrude at will toward the outer face of another split mold 2 and further a driving means 4 to drive the cutting blade 3 is provided. A tubular parison is arranged between the both molds 2, 2, a hollow molded article 6 is blow molded by blowing air into the parison and after a flash 7 which leads from the clearance 1 between the both molds 2, 2 to the outer face in a blow molding solidifies as a temperature descends enough, it is cut by protruding the cutting blade 3 by driving with the driving means 4. |
