PURPOSE:To simplify a pallet loader, by providing a first and a second holding members which pinch-hold a cargo on both the sides and are enabled to move vertically and horizontally so that cargoes for one level can be transferred dividedly at plural times, each of which corresponds to one row of a loading pattern. CONSTITUTION:A column 11 is set up near a convey-in section 2 and a convey- out section 3 which are adjacent to each other. An elevator 12, which extends long horizontally along the convey-in and the convey-out sections 2, 3, is provided so that the elevator can be moved up and down along the column 11. A horizontally traveling body 21 is provided so that it can be moved horizontally along the elevator 12 between the convey-in and the convey-out sections 2, 3. A pair of holding members 41, 42, which pinch-hold a cargo B on both the sides, are provided under the horizontally traveling body 21. The holding member 41 located at the side of the convey-out section 3 is secured on the horizontally traveling body 21. The other holding member 42 located at the side of the convey-in section 2 is movable back and forth relative to the holding member 41. |
