Device for measuring the time distribution of photon pulses with a high time resolution

For measuring the time distribution of pulses such as photon pulses with high time resolution in a short-duration pulse sequence occurring repetitively at intervals, the pulses are first stored in an electronic memory (RAM) addressed with a high address repetition rate and are then transferred at low frequency in the interval to the next pulse sequence to a multi-channel analyzer. This provides short accumulation times in spite of the high time resolution.
