A device is described for carrying out a translational movement in a first direction or a second direction, which are mutually at right angles. Three platforms are flexibly connected in order to enable the movement of one of the platforms selectively in the first direction or in the second direction. Mechanical devices enable a micrometric translational movement of the platform in the desired direction.
