PURPOSE:To make a loader simple and compact enough to install it easily in an already built plant or the like, by providing a cargo holder which is moved up and down and in both sideward directions so that cargoes for one level can be transferred dividedly at plural times, each of which corresponds to one row of cargoes. CONSTITUTION:A column 11 is set up near a convey-in section 2 and a convey- out section 3 which are adjacent to each other. An elevator 12, which extends long horizontally along the convey-in and the convey-out sections 2, 3, is provided so that the elevator can be moved up and down along the column 11. A holder 41 is provided under a horizontally traveling body 21 which can be moved in a horizontal direction along the elevator 12 between the convey-in and the convey-out sections 2, 3. In the holder 41, a first pinch-holding member 43 is provided under one side edge of a frame 42 supported by the horizontally traveling body 21 and a second pinch-holding member 44 is provided under the other side edge of the frame so that the second pinch-holding member faces the first one and can be moved back and forth relative thereto. A support 45 is provided under the latter side edge of the frame 42 so that the support is positioned on the lower part of the same side of a cargo B between the pinch-holding members 43, 44 and can be moved back and forth outside the member 44. |
