PURPOSE:To protect and fix a coil by a method wherein a predetermined sheet material having a first part to entirely cover the inner peripheral surface of annular projecting portions of the coil end part and a second part to cover the outer peripheral surface thereof with certain intevals is adhered to the annular projecting portions. CONSTITUTION:Winding coils are mounted in a number of slits formed in the inner peripheral surface of a ring-like core 1, and annular portions 30 each formed of assembly of the individual end parts of the winding coils are projected from both sides of the core 1. A thermosetting resin impregnated fiber sheet 7 having a first part 701 to cover the entire inner peripheral surface 301 of the annular portions 30 and a second part 702 covering the entire outer peripheral surface 302 of the annular portions 30 and formed with a number of slits 703, is temporalily adhered to the annular portions 30. Thereafter, a stator is heated to completely harden the impregnated resin of the sheet 7, so that the sheet 7 is adhered to the annular portions 30. An end part 702' of the second part 702 of the sheet 7 is adhered to the side surface 11 of the core 1. |
