PURPOSE:To realize a large-scale DC power supply driving type circuit, by supplying the electric power to a DC power supply driving type Josephson circuit by a transformer coupling system. CONSTITUTION:Figures 1, 9 and 10 indicate an AC power supply of a room temperature, a thin film transformer chip and a Josephson IC chip respectively. The chips 9 and 10 are dipped in liquid helium. A control part is shown by 11. The power supply 1 generates sine waves of 200mA and 1V with 100kHz, and this electric power is converted into 50 sets of electric powers 400mA and 10mV. A Josephson circuit which needs a current of 400mA is connected to each transformer at the secondary side. This circuit is a logical LSI which consists of Huffle (Hebard et al. IEEE Trans. Magnetisn MAG 15, 408, 1979). An LSI contains 50 sets of transformers. The secondary output of a transformer 501 is shaped by a regulator 701 and connected with a Josephson logical circuit 801, etc. |
