PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of fluid stably for long term by providing an annular section projecting to a lip seal side and an annular groove along said annular section at a portion of the supporting face of a sealing member in contact with the lip seal. CONSTITUTION:An annular section 5b projecting to a lip seal 6 side at a further outer position in the radial direction than the inner circumferential side 4a of a case 4 is formed at a portion of the supporting face 5a of a sealing member 5 for the lip seal 6. An annular groove 5c is formed at a further outer position. Consequently, when the lip seal 6 is held by the supporting face 5a and a spacer 7, the projecting section 5b is resiliently deformed to be larger relatively than other portions of the supporting face 5a with a portion thereof inflating into the groove 5c. As a result, the contacting condition between the projecting section 5b and the lip seal 6 is maintained well even if the sealing member 5 aged and the resiliency is degraded thereby the leakage of liquid can be prevented for long term. |
