Bar winding of the stator of an electrical machine

The stator winding is provided with a means for electrical insulation of the end connections (15, 16) of the outer bars (1) of various phase groups of the winding, which means contains dielectric cell screens (18) which surround these connections. The screens (18) are composed of U-shaped elements (21) and angled elements (22 and 23) which have a bent end part (27). These elements are arranged such that the adjacent walls (19) of a pair of screens (18) of an intermediate-phase zone (17) of the winding-overhang parts of the winding (which lie in the radial planes of the stator) are formed by webs (which are adjacent to one another) of the angled elements (22, 23), those walls (24) of the screens (18) which are opposite the adjacent walls (19) are formed by the webs of the U-shaped element (21), and those which lie in the tangential planes of the stator (25, 26) are formed by the belts of the U-shaped element (21) and of the angled elements (22, 23). In this case, the bent-in end parts (27) of these elements rest against a part of the involute sections (9) of the end parts of the bars (1). The winding-overhang parts have elements (29), which are produced from electrical insulating material which can be formed (moulded) for tangential mounting of the end parts of the bars (1) which are accommodated in the intermediate-phase zones (17) and engage in the arrangement zones of the involute sections (9) of the bars (1).
