PURPOSE:To manufacture molded work with an insert which can be formed in a required shape, by a method wherein a gap is formed between a middle part of the back of an insert and a mold at a molding time to perform an injection molding. CONSTITUTION:A projection 12a is formed with a synthetic resin such as ABS reisn on the back of a periphery of an insert 12 having a rigid elasticity. Thus, if the insert 12 is placed in a mold 14, a gap h1 (0.5-2.0mm.) is provided between the middle part of the back and a bottom force 16. After the insert 12 is placed in the mold 14, a synthetic resin material such as PVC is injected into a cavity 14a by injection so that a skin 13 is formed on the surface side of the insert 12. The insert 12 is deformed in a manner to bend it downward by an injection pressure p1, which results in accumulating an elastic energy. After a molding is completed, a horn pad 11 is removed from the mold 14. The skin 13 is cooled and contracted, but a required shape is held by the repulsion force of the insert 12. |
