PURPOSE:To prevent a concentrated pressure impressed locally upon being frozen by a method wherein a plurality of heat collecting tubes, arranged in right-and-left direction in parallel, and a descending tube, communicated with the heat collecting tubes at the lower ends thereof, are formed so as to have the same diameter and configuration in the sections thereof, further, they are arranged in the same plane. CONSTITUTION:Heat collecting tubes 1 and descending tubes 2 are arranged in parallel in up-and-down direction, fins 3 are formed between the tubes and at the peripheral rims of the collector. An upper header 3 is provided at the upper end of each heat collecting tube 1 and a lower header 5 is provided at the lower end of each heat collecting tube 1 and the descending tube 2, while all of the tubes and the headers are formed integrally by means of blow forming. The heat collecting tubes 1 and the descending tube 2 are formed so as to have elliptic sections having the same diameters and the longer diameters thereof are located in the same plane to form the collector A while water is circulated naturally through a water feeding tube 7 and a hot-water feeding tube 6. According to this method, all of the water is frozen uniformly when the water in the tubes is frozen and the pressure will never be concentrated locally, therefore, the breakage of the tubes may be prevented. |
